About this blog

Who are We?

At the moment, we are a very small group of people who know each other from face to face contact in the Sydney (Australia) area.
Overtime this may well change.

What is a blog?

A blog (short for weblog which I guess you could say is short for "web log") is a publicly visible web page or site where people (usually one person) makes observations about a particular topic, or just about life as they see it, in general.
Each statement is known as a "post" and is usually date and time stamped, akin to a journal.
Sometimes the "poster" allows others to make "comments" on their observations.
Blogs are usually presented in reverse chronoligical order (the most recent - most topical - post is displayed first).
A limited number of posts are displayed on the first page but all posts (and comments) are available over time by accessing the "archive".

This blog is moderated

Posting and commenting in this blog is permitted within the terms of service.
These basically ask that you respect others.
Members of this blog review all posts and comments (out of interest, not out of some fascistic desire to enforce order). Posts that are found to be outside the terms of service may be edited or removed. Comments that are found to be outside the terms of service may be removed (unfortunately the software does not allow editing of comments).
As an aside, it is conceivable that one day anonymous comments will not be permitted. If this blog ever becomes particularly popular it will most likely fall prey to "blog spam", robots that make anonymous posts in order to increase a particular websites popularity in search engines.

Why are there ads in this blog?

Web site hosting costs money, not necessarily a lot, but it costs money none the less.
The ads are provided by Google and derive a very small income from what is (otherwise) a non-profit venture.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge for His will for us and the power to carry that out.

This is a moderated blog for all things related to step eleven.

In short that means that anyone can comment on posts but your post or comment may be deleted or <snipped> if it's against the terms of service.
