Membership
Becoming a Member
To become a member (which will allow you to post),
send some details (not much) about yourself to chamois
using the email address acceptance449 at gmail dot com.
You can also display other member's profiles
(and therefore perhaps contact them) by clicking
on their name where it appears against a post.
Membership is open to anyone and is free.
The only requirement for membership is a desire
to make a respectful contribution to the blog. As with all comments,
posts must be made in line with
the terms of service (which basically state:
respect others, be loosely relevant
and no solicitation).
In order to become a member of this blog, you will need to create a blogger account
(unless you already have one). You can wait for chamois to respond before you open an account
(which is probably easiest), or you can click on the blogger logo at the bottom
of the left hand menu items (powered by bpresent and <logo>). The blogger account
creation process allows you to create your own blog - but you can ignore this for the moment.
Membership Rights
At the moment the only thing members can do, that non-members can't do, is create and edit posts.
Ideally we'd like to make it such that a member can invite and accept new members but unfortunately that's
not really feasible at the moment for technical reasons. Please contact chamois and he will
send the invitation.
Note that posts can be edited and removed by the poster (or moderator),
comments may only be removed by the commenter (or moderator).
When a comment is removed, a place marker will remain.
Making a Post
To make a post (once you've become a member), click on the Blogger logo on any page in this website
(bottom of left hand menu).
This will open up a new window allowing you to login to blogger. You can then display
your blog list and select "New Post" against the blog "third step prayer".
For details of what you can do when posting (eg. bold and italics)
you may want to read
this handy tutorial.
Membership Responsibilities
None really - nothing in addition to the normal person making a comment.
See terms of service.
